Upgrading from File Tracker 1.0
Upgrading from File Tracker v1.0 is simple:
1. Remove all File Tracker v1.0 files from your hard drive, especially the File Tracker Extension, File Tracker Controls and the File Tracker Assistant.
2. Remove your File Tracker Data file from your hard drive (It is located in your Preferences folder, in your System Folder). The internal format of this file has changed and it is not compatible with the new 1.5 version.
3. Install your new version of File Tracker as described in the documentation.
4. Note that you will have to re-index and configure your Watched Items. Use the File Tracker Assistant for background indexing if you are watching large folders. Don't forget to check out the new scheduling options for Watched Items!
5. Consult the documentation or write to the author if you have any questions about the upgrade process.
